Laddez is an acronym for La Delicacia de Zamboanga which is a pasalubong entity established in year 2006 in Zamboanga City. It was primarily established to provide a decent pasalubong for Zamboanga City that Zamboangueños can be proud of and which can be reflective of Zamboanga as a city that is unique for being able to perfectly blend its hodgepodge culture.
Its first product is the Zambo Rolls . The people behind Laddez were confronted with the question as to what pasalubong can they bring when they travel. What product does Zamboanga have that can be placed in the level of Otap of Cebu, Barquillos of Iloilo, Strawberry Jam of Baguio, Durian candies of Davao? What worthy product can truly represent Zamboanga instead of imported products from the barter trade that do not in any way represent the true culture of Zamboanga? With these questions, the Zambo Rolls product was born.
